If you suffered a disability as a result of serving in the military and are determined to be eligible you may receive tax-free disability payments.
These payments have been determined by Congress as compensation for serving our Nation.

Some of these disability claims have been deemed PRESUMPTIVE, which basically suggests that if you were participating on active duty in locations that have later been determined to cause an increased likelihood of coming down with a certain disability, then you will will automatically qualify.
Many of us joined the military knowing that our survival may be a 50/50 proposition.
Very few of us had expected that, having survived the conflict, our lives have been shortened dramatically merely from being THERE some 20 - 50 years after the fact!
